What NoMad Patients Are Saying
-
"I came in with two (completely separate) issues—one in my shoulder, one in my knee. Charlie made sure that all the exercises we did were more than exercises with bands—they were workouts I could do on my own at the gym or before a run. This was incredibly important to me as a patient, since I'm a fairly active individual."
Shira Kindler
-
"I came for [chronic] knee tenderness/inflammation and it's been extremely helpful, especially as I got back into running and more challenging training. YJ genuinely cares about his clients and takes the time to listen, educate, and empower you to know your body."
Cristina Martelo

"Charlie and the team at Zero Point One are absolutely the best! I've been working with Charlie for months now, addressing both nagging knee and back issues. His ability to listen intently and remember every detail from our sessions leads to tailored treatment plans that truly make a difference."

Frequently asked questions
-
Traditional PT often focuses on the knee in isolation—giving you generic exercises and sending you home after 20 minutes with an aide. At Zero Point One, we take a full-body approach. We assess why your knee is compensating, how your hip, ankle, and core are contributing to the problem, and we address the root cause through expert manual therapy and progressive strength training. Every session is 60 minutes, 1-on-1 with a Doctor of Physical Therapy—no hand-offs, no shortcuts.
-
Most clients notice a reduction in pain and improvement in movement within the first 2-4 sessions. However, truly resolving chronic knee pain and building long-term resilience typically takes 8-12 weeks of consistent treatment and home exercises. We don't just want you pain-free—we want your knee strong enough to handle everything you ask of it without breaking down again.
-
We are an out-of-network, fee-for-service practice, meaning payment is due at the time of service. However, we will file claims to your insurance for reimbursement based on your out-of-network benefits. Many clients also use FSA/HSA funds. We're happy to verify your coverage—just click "Check Coverage" at the top of our website. While we may not be the cheapest option, we prioritize delivering high-quality, personalized care that gets lasting results.

Absolutely. Charlie, one of our physical therapists, is a multi-time marathon runner who specializes in treating runners and athletes with knee injuries. We combine manual therapy to reduce pain with progressive gym-based training to rebuild strength, stability, and running mechanics. Whether you're dealing with runner's knee, IT band syndrome, or post-surgical rehab, we've helped countless athletes get back to their sport stronger than before.

You're not alone—many of our clients come to us after traditional PT failed or plateaued. We specialize in complex, stubborn knee pain that hasn't responded to standard treatment. Our approach is different: we spend the full hour assessing and treating you, we address the full-body mechanics contributing to your knee pain, and we use advanced manual therapy techniques that most PTs don't have training in. If you've tried PT before without success, we're exactly who you need to see.
